Volunteer with Great Northern Services
Volunteering allows you to connect to your community and make it a better place. Even helping out with the smallest tasks can make a real difference to the lives of people. Our volunteers provide crucial support and aid to the continuing mission of Great Northern Services. Help is needed with the Siskiyou Senior Nutrition program, our Holiday and School Break food bags assembly, food distribution at various events around the county, and our Summer Lunch program. If you are interested in being involved with these crucial programs that help some of the most vulnerable members of our community, please let us know.

Siskiyou Senior Nutrition needs volunteers to help make deliveries on Thursdays (10 am to 2:30 pm) and provide transportation to and from the Community Cafes on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (roughly 10 am to 1 pm). Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record but will be using the program’s vehicles. If you are interested in volunteering for this program, please fill out the volunteer application and contact Heather Solus at (530) 938-4115 ext. 128.
We greatly appreciate all the wonderful community members who make these programs possible and we invite you to join us in this rewarding work.
