In order to effectively help communities, you must understand the needs of the community and lay the groundwork for community involvement at a deeper level. Through the process of gathering information, collecting and collating survey data, and conducting community conversations Great Northern Services authentically reflects the input from the community and individuals on the important issues they face. This information is an essential building block for partnering agencies and the planning process. A project like this takes a high level of commitment and cooperation and Great Northern Services has the knowledge, experience, and relationships necessary to bring about that informed understanding through Community Assessment.
Past projects include a 2012-13 Siskiyou County Community Food Assessment funded in part by The National Institute of Food and Agriculture
(NIFA), USDA.
