SUMMARY:Happy Camp Commodities Distribution
DESCRIPTION:USDA Commodities are being distributed for residents of Happy Camp. Participation is easy! These distributions of shelf-stable staples are a way for low-income households to supplement their diet\, perhaps freeing up some funds for other expenses such as fresh vegetables\, bills\, etc. All USDA foods are domestically grown and are offered as one of USDA’s methods of supporting farmers. \n*EDIT*\nThe Happy Camp Community Center has been awarded a grant from the Modoc Siskiyou Community Action Agency to distribute USDA Commodities on a monthly basis. The 2019 dates are changing from the previously announced schedule.
